- Occupational Therapist Level 2 - $98,936.00 - $108,943.00 per annum

Join Liverpool Paediatric Allied Health Service (Rainbow Cottage), a specialist multidisciplinary service supporting children and young people aged 0-16 years with complex developmental, neurological and medical needs. Working across inpatient and outpatient settings, you will be part of a collaborative team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Physiotherapists delivering coordinated, family-centred care. - Provide assessment and intervention for children and young people with complex developmental, neurological, physical and medical presentations across a range of clinical settings.
- Deliver services across the Emergency Department, Paediatric Ward and Liverpool Paediatric Allied Health outpatient programs, supporting children throughout their developmental journey.
- Support participation, independence and quality of life by addressing areas such as developmental skills, play, self-care, fine motor skills, sensory processing, school readiness and functional performance.
- Partner with families, caregivers and multidisciplinary teams to support goal achievement, coordinated care planning and family-centred practice.
- Access clinical supervision, mentoring, professional development and support through Liverpool Hospital's Occupational Therapy Department and extensive professional network.

- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with children, families, carers, health professionals and community partners.
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to assessment, intervention and coordinated care planning.
- Committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based and family-centred care across a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Support safe transitions between hospital, home, school and community environments through effective discharge planning, education and consultation.
- Interested in contributing to quality improvement initiatives, student supervision opportunities and ongoing professional development.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

- Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated clinical experience in the provision of paediatric occupational therapy assessment and intervention in a range of clinical settings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
