About us:
The Women's Health Clinic functions within the multi-disciplinary team to promote and deliver efficient, effective, clinically relevant, culturally safe and appropriate patient outcomes in the specific area of Women's Health. The Clinic supports in the provision of comprehensive, holistic health care services delivered to Aboriginal and Torres Strait people and their families and provides health care services within both the hospital and community settings across the Cairns & Hinterland Hospital Health Service.

About your role:
In this position you will…..
- Work collaboratively with the Gynaecology Team/Health Professionals to deliver a range of culturally safe evidence-based interventions including co-case management, care coordination, intake assessment, treatment plans,
direct therapeutic interventions and referrals whilst providing support to Gynaecology Clinic patients. Work as part of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child and Family Service team; maintain a case load within the scope of the Health Worker HWF3.
- Establish and maintain a communication network between health service providers and the communities by attending meetings, liaising with health services including, Aboriginal Medical Services and other health care providers.
- Develop a positive culture within a division which encourages and recognises high performance, builds leadership capabilities and supports staff to maximise their health and wellbeing.
