What will your typical day look like?

From day one, you'll play a hands-on role in shaping Adobe Commerce solutions for clients, translating business requirements into scalable technical designs and leading the build of customised platforms across traditional and headless commerce environments. That means architecting approaches, detailing integrations, and getting close to complex development and debugging where it matters most.

A big part of the role is creating confidence - for clients, for delivery teams, and for the broader project. You'll guide technical decisions across Adobe Commerce Cloud, extension development, APP Builder integrations, and third-party connections with ERPs, CRMs and payment gateways, helping ensure solutions are practical, secure, and built to last.

This is also a people leadership role. Working closely with project managers, product owners, business analysts and developers, you'll lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, support setting setup and CI/CD pipelines, and lift delivery standards across the team through strong engineering practice.

Note - This is a 12-month fixed-term engagement with the opportunity to convert to a permanent role.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You may have all or some of the following skills/experiences:

Experience leading the technical delivery of Adobe Commerce (Magento) implementations in client-facing environments

Strong architecture capability across traditional and headless commerce solutions

Deep hands-on experience with PHP, JavaScript, MySQL and HTML/CSS

Experience customising Adobe Commerce, developing extensions, and working within Adobe Commerce Cloud

Knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, OAuth-based authentication, and integrations with third-party platforms such as ERPs, CRMs and payment gateways

Confidence leading developers through mentoring, code reviews, troubleshooting and technical oversight

Experience working closely with cross-functional stakeholders including product owners, business analysts and project managers

Adobe Commerce certification or APP Builder experience is nice to have
