Our venue partner, Product of Italy was lovingly founded in 2015 by Luke and Christene Deeb to share their passion for authentic Italian food with Australian families. Luke’s culinary journey began over 18 years ago, working as a Pizzaiolo in Italian restaurants both in Australia and overseas, while Christene brings her rich Italian family heritage to the business.

Product of Italy brings a genuine slice of Italy to the local community, with locations across Penrith, Gregory Hills, Minchinbury, Box Hill, Kellyville, and the newest site in Springwood. The restaurants serve a wide variety of traditional and inventive pizzas and pastas, quickly becoming local favourites.

POI Box Hill, is seeking a skilled and qualified Cooks to join their vibrant kitchen team.

Location: Shop 2 Carmel VIllage corner windsor and Mt. Carmel Road, Boxhill NSW 2765

Salary:



$78,000 – $83,000 AUD

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and cook food items in accordance with established recipes and instructions.
2. Assist in basic food preparation, including cutting, portioning, and assembling ingredients.
3. Ensure dishes are produced consistently and presented in line with expected standards.
4. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and workstations throughout operations.
5. Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

1. At least 1–3 years of relevant work experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen.
2. Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
3. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support overall kitchen operations.
