Kyogle Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department and Medical/Paediatric Short Stay ward on a contract basis. This is a short-term opportunity running from 10 August for a minimum of six weeks, offering $45.00 to $60.00 per hour. The successful candidate will bring solid clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.

- Contract position in ED/MPS, starting 10 August for minimum six weeks
- $45.00 to $60.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- Work across emergency and medical/paediatric short-stay settings in a supportive team environment

Preferred Requirements

- Current Australian Triage Scale certification and demonstrated triage experience
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)

- Proven experience working as an in-charge nurse or in a leadership capacity within a ward or department
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in acute care settings
- Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in emergency nursing
- Additional certifications in paediatric care or acute care nursing are advantageous
