We are currently seeking 2 x experienced Multi-System Drivers to join a busy waste operation in Northgate.
This is a relief driver position, covering both Front Lift and Rear Lift runs, so flexibility is essential. Waste industry experience is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.
The Role
- Monday to Friday
- Shift start times can vary between 4:30am and 2:30pm
- $41.21 per hour + applicable penalties
- 3–6 month assignment with opportunity to extend or transition to permanent
- Relief driving across Front Lift and Rear Lift runs
- Based in Northgate
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate HR vehicles and waste collection equipment
- Complete Front Lift and Rear Lift collection runs as required
- Operate lifting equipment to safely load and unload commercial and industrial waste
- Conduct daily vehicle and equipment safety checks
- Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and presentation
- Follow all company safety, operational and environmental procedures
What We're Looking For
- Current HR Licence
- Minimum 2 years' HR driving experience
- Waste industry experience highly regarded but not essential
- Physically fit and comfortable pushing, pulling and handling bins
- Solid safety focus and reliable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing runs and start times
- Mechanical aptitude is advantageous
