LOOKING FOR A ROLE WHERE NO TWO DAYS ARE THE SAME?
Comfort N Care Support is growing — and we’re looking for great people to grow with us!
We are currently looking for male and female Disability Support Workers to join our team for ongoing work supporting participants across community-based supports and Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes.
We have a variety of shifts available, including:
- Weekday shifts
- Weekend shifts
- Day and evening supports
- Community access
- SIL home supports
- Sleepovers
- Ongoing regular roster opportunities
Whether you're already an experienced Disability Support Worker looking for a change, or you're passionate about the industry and looking for the right team to join, we want to hear from you.
WHAT DOES A DAY WITH COMFORT N CARE LOOK LIKE?
That's the great thing — it can look different every day!
You might be supporting someone to get out into the community, helping with shopping or appointments, heading out for a coffee or an activity, assisting around the home, preparing meals, supporting personal care, or working as part of a team within one of our SIL homes.
At the heart of it all is one thing:
Supporting people to live their life, their way.
We're not looking for people who simply want to "do a shift."
We're looking for Support Workers who show up, get involved, build genuine professional relationships and understand that the little things can make a big difference.
WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU ARE:
Reliable — if you're rostered, people are counting on you.
Positive — you bring a good attitude to work and genuinely enjoy supporting others.
Professional — you understand boundaries,
confidentiality and the responsibility that comes with working in disability support.
Flexible — you're willing to work across a variety of shifts, including weekends and/or sleepovers.
A team player — you communicate well and understand that excellent participant outcomes come from everyone working together.
Person-centred — you understand that every participant is different and support should never be "one size fits all."
And most importantly, you genuinely care about the work you do.
THE ROLE MAY INCLUDE:
- Supporting participants with daily living activities
- Personal care and hygiene assistance
- Meal preparation
- Medication assistance in accordance with training and care plans
- Community access and social activities
- Transport to appointments, shopping and activities
- Household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
- Supporting participants to build independence and work towards their goals
- Working within SIL homes as part of a broader support team
- Completing clear and accurate shift documentation
- Following participant care plans, behaviour support strategies and organisational procedures
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Depending on the role and participant requirements, you will need or be willing to obtain:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children/Blue Card where required
- Current First Aid
- Current CPR
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable transport
- Relevant disability/community services qualification is highly regarded
- Previous disability support experience is highly regarded
Additional participant-specific training may be required for some roles.
WHY JOIN COMFORT N CARE?
We're a locally operated disability support provider, and we believe our Support Workers are an incredibly important part of what we do.
We offer:
- Ongoing roster opportunities
- A variety of weekday, weekend and sleepover shifts
- Work across both community supports and SIL
- Competitive pay in accordance with applicable employment conditions
- A supportive office and management team
- Participant-specific training where required
- Opportunities to build your experience across a range of support needs
- A workplace where reliability, initiative and great support are recognised
READY FOR A CHANGE?
Maybe you're looking for more variety.
Maybe you want additional regular shifts.
Maybe you're ready to join a team where you can build genuine relationships with the people you support.
Or maybe you're simply ready for something new.
Whatever brought you here, we'd love to hear from you.
We're currently recruiting male and female Support Workers for ongoing roles, so if you have availability across weekdays, weekends, evenings and/or sleepovers, hit APPLY NOW and tell us a little about yourself.
