This well-established suburban shopping centre pharmacy is located in central Rockhampton. The pharmacy provides a broad range of professional services within a supportive community setting and is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to lead alongside an experienced dispensary and front-of-shop team.

Job Specification:

This full-time Pharmacist in Charge role involves working collaboratively with Pharmacists, Dispensary Technicians, and retail staff to deliver high-quality patient care and pharmacy services.

The dispensary operates on the FRED dispensing system with good processes in place. Staffing includes Pharmacists, one Dispensary Technician, a Retail Manager who can support dispensary operations,



and a wider shop team of 4-6 staff.

Professional services include vaccinations, Webster packing, delivery services, sleep apnoea support, staged supply, and Medschecks. The role offers flexibility in roster arrangements, with options to suit the successful candidate. The Pharmacist in Charge will generally not be working alone, except on selected weekends.

Skills Required:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist.
- Experience in community pharmacy operations and leadership.
- Strong dispensing, counselling, and patient care skills.
- Vaccination accreditation desirable.
- Ability to support professional services including Medschecks and DAA services.

Salary & Benefits:

- Monday-Saturday: $65/hr + super (negotiable based on experience).
- Sundays and Public Holidays: $85/hr + super.
- Initial one month accommodation provided while securing your own accommodation.
- Full-time hours with roster flexibility to be discussed.
