About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Marine Engineer – MED 1 to join our team as we continue to grow and expand our operations!

This is a great prospect to join a supportive team with a strong focus on safety, quality and work-life balance. The role will require some weekend and public holiday work, with an attractive remuneration package on offer.

Your Responsibilities

- Perform daily engine and equipment checks on assigned vessels

- Carry out maintenance, repairs and engineering duties across our fleet, auxiliary vessels and pontoon operations

- Conduct inspections and audits and participate in safety drills

- Complete preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure vessels remain safe, reliable and operational

- Assist with workshop maintenance and general engineering duties as required

- Support the training and mentoring of crew in vessel maintenance and safety procedures





- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure work is completed in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements

About You

You’re an experienced Marine Engineer with high standards when it comes to vessel maintenance, safety and performance. You hold a MED 1 qualification, current First Aid, CPR and AFR certificates, and a Marine Radio Licence.

You’re hardworking, self-motivated and confident working independently, with the leadership skills to mentor and train crew. You take pride in maintaining high standards of safety and ensuring the performance and reliability of our vessels, with the safety of our guests and crew always a priority.

Experience within the tourism industry is desirable but not essential.
