About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role within a high-performing finance team, taking ownership of day-to-day transactional accounting while gaining valuable exposure to month-end processes, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage the Accounts Payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Perform daily banking activities, bank reconciliations, transaction postings, and payment processing.




- Process and reconcile corporate credit card expenses in line with company policies.
- Prepare and lodge BAS and payroll tax returns.
- Maintain FBT records and assist with annual FBT reporting requirements.
- Support external audit requirements and compliance obligations.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including payroll journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial workpapers and supporting documentation.
- Ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all finance activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and efficiencies.
- Provide ad hoc accounting and administrative support as required.

Profile

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

- 2+ years' experience in an accounting, finance, or accounts-related role.
- Demonstrated experience independently managing the full Accounts Payable function.
- Experience using accounting or ERP systems; Proficiency with accounting software (NetSuite and Lightyear experience highly regarded)
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with financial workbooks and reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet reporting and compliance deadlines.
- Degree or qualification in Accounting or Finance (required)
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Full and unrestricted AU working rights
