Restaurant Manager | New Melbourne Openings | $85K-$95K + Super + Tips

JRM Hospitality is partnering with one of Australia's leading hospitality operators to recruit Restaurant Managers for two exciting new restaurant openings in central Melbourne this October.

These are substantial, high-energy venues designed for busy trade, with a strong focus on great food, vibrant service and memorable guest experiences. We're looking for modern hospitality leaders who enjoy being on the floor, building teams and creating the energy that makes a new restaurant successful.

The opportunities are primarily at Restaurant Manager level, however we're also interested in speaking with talented Assistant Restaurant Managers who are ready for greater responsibility and have the potential to step up.

Best of all, you don't need to wait until October. Successful candidates can join the business immediately, working within established venues and getting to know the culture, systems and expectations ahead of opening.

The Role

* Lead the day-to-day restaurant operation with a strong presence on the floor.
* Recruit, train and develop a new front-of-house team ahead of opening.
* Drive a fun, professional and high-performance service culture from day one.
* Deliver polished yet energetic service within a busy, high-volume restaurant environment.
* Work closely with senior management and the kitchen leadership team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
* Manage rostering, labour, service standards and daily operational requirements.
* Play a key role in pre-opening preparation, training and establishing systems and standards.
* Bring personality, confidence and genuine hospitality to the venue rather than simply managing from the sidelines.





About You

* Experienced Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager or strong senior hospitality leader ready for your next move.
* Background in quality, high-volume restaurants, premium casual dining or similarly fast-paced environments.
* Energetic and hands-on with a natural ability to motivate and engage a team.
* Commercially aware while remaining passionate about service and the guest experience.
* Confident managing busy services and sizeable front-of-house teams.
* Strong communication, organisation and people-management skills.
* Excited by the challenge and energy of launching a brand-new restaurant.
* Full Australian working rights are essential - sponsorship is not available for these positions.
