About the role

We are seeking a reliable and professional Truck Driver with a valid Medium Rigid (MR) license Manual truck, to be able to to join our transport team on a full-time basis at our Campbellfield, VIC location. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of timber and hardware products to our customers across the region. You will play a crucial part in maintaining our reputation for excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional conduct and on-time deliveries. This is a hands-on position that combines driving, vehicle maintenance awareness, and customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

- Operate a medium rigid truck safely and efficiently to transport timber and hardware products to customer locations

- Plan and manage delivery routes to ensure on-time arrivals and optimal fuel efficiency

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly

- Load and unload products safely, following correct procedures and weight distribution guidelines

- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including delivery dockets and timesheets

- Interact professionally with customers and handle any delivery-related queries or concerns





- Comply with all road safety regulations, speed limits, and traffic laws

- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle at all times

- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Hours: 6.30 AM to 3.00 PM ( overtime is available when required )

What we're looking for

- Valid Medium Rigid (MR) driving license (required) Manual Truck.

- Fork Lift Licence preferred.

- Clean driving record with a commitment to road safety

- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in the transport or logistics sector

- Strong knowledge of Victorian road rules and regulations

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple deliveries

- Physical capability to assist with loading and unloading of products

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Reliability and punctuality

- Basic mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn vehicle maintenance awareness
