Our client is a respected multi-brand fashion retail business with an established footprint across department stores, wholesale partners, and online marketplaces. As the business accelerates its wholesale and marketplace growth strategy, it is seeking an experienced channel leader to take the reins of this critical revenue stream.

Position Summary

Reporting to the General Manager, the Head of Wholesale & Marketplace will own strategy and execution across all third-party wholesale accounts and online marketplace partnerships. This role is central to the business's channel diversification agenda and offers genuine scope to build out a growing team and portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and lead the wholesale and marketplace channel strategy, aligned to overall business growth targets.
- Own commercial relationships with key wholesale partners, including department stores and independent retailers.
- Manage and grow marketplace partnerships, including major online platforms and pure-play digital retailers.
- Lead forecasting, range planning, and trading performance across all wholesale and marketplace accounts.
- Negotiate trading terms, promotional activity, and account plans to maximise sell-through and margin.
- Build, lead,



and develop a growing wholesale and marketplace account management team.
- Partner closely with merchandise, supply chain, and marketing to ensure channel-specific execution.
- Identify and onboard new wholesale and marketplace opportunities, both domestic and international.

Selection Criteria

- Substantial experience in a wholesale, marketplace, or key account leadership role within fashion, apparel, or consumer goods.
- Demonstrated success growing revenue through department store, wholesale, and/or online marketplace channels.
- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of building lasting commercial partnerships.
- Confident people leader, with experience building and developing account management teams.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to translate trading data into clear commercial action.
- A proactive, curious operator who brings initiative and a can-do approach to a fast-moving channel.
