About the role: Join us as an AOD Case Manager and make a real difference. In this role, you’ll empower individuals on their recovery journey by providing practical support and guidance within a psychosocial capacity-building framework. You’ll deliver trauma-informed, person-centred care that truly changes lives. You’ll have the opportunity to lead engaging group sessions and provide one-on-one support to people sharing your knowledge in psychoeducation, harm minimisation, and relapse prevention.

About the program: The aim of the Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program (DATP) is to achieve improved health and social outcomes for individuals, families, and communities at risk of, or currently affected by, problematic alcohol and other drug use. It supports people at all stages from early intervention to relapse prevention.

Hours and location: This role is 23 hours per week with flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance. Working in a hybrid capacity, you'll split your time between our Lismore and Byron offices, community-based outreach, and occasional work from home. A work vehicle is provided for community appointments. This position is funded until 30 June 2027, with strong potential for extension as part of our expanding community services.

$$$ This role will be remunerated at SCHCDS Level 4 $46-50ph with access to salary packaging to potentially increase your take home pay by another 5k.

1. Tertiary qualifications at diploma level or higher in an AOD, Social work, psychology, or Mental Health field.

2. Current driver's licence, a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check

3. A minimum of two years’ experience in delivery of brief interventions with a trauma informed approach using knowledge of AOD support and relapse prevention.
