About the role
As a casual Registered Nurse with HealthSA, you will provide safe, person-centred care across a variety of healthcare settings throughout South Australia. This diverse role includes delivering in-home nursing care to HealthSA's Support at Home clients, as well as supporting other healthcare providers through agency placements.
You will work under the guidance of the Clinical Lead and Foundational Registered Nurse as well as providing support to ENs and PCWs where required.
Your role will contribute to:
- High-level clinical care delivery, monitoring and reviews
- Medication administration and reviews
- Documentation and compliance requirements
- Infection prevention and control practices
- Escalation of clinical deterioration and risk
- Maintaining a culture of safety, excellence and continuous improvement across HealthSA by participating in quality improvement activities
About you
As a Registered Nurse with HealthSA, you will be committed to improving the care and experiences of South Australians through the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You will be compassionate, dedicated to your profession, and committed to maintaining a high standard of clinical practice. You are adaptable, professional, and passionate about making a positive difference in clinical outcomes and your patient’s experiences.
Essential requirements:
· Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
· Experience in Community Nursing and/or Residential Aged Care highly regarded
· Solid clinical observation and escalation skills
· Excellent documentation and communication capabilities
· Compassion, professionalism and adaptability
· Commitment to person-centred, dignified care
You must also hold, or be willing to obtain:
· National Police Check (within 12 months)
· NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
· Current First Aid & CPR
· Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
· Reliable vehicle and ability to travel
