About the Role
We are seeking a HSEQ Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide advice, guidance and assistance in relation to Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality-related matters for Reach Subsea group. Working closely with project managers, offshore crews, and clients, you will play a key role in maintaining high operational standards and efficient execution across all Health and Safety activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Use, maintain and suggest improvements to the Reach Management System in accordance with relevant ISO-standards and regulations.
- Identify and conduct improvements within HSE-related processes.
- Assist Project Manager in HSEQ related matters and act as dedicated project HSEQ resource in the project team.
- Conduct HAZID/HAZOP and other safety relevant meetings for the project.
- Monitor Reach Subsea LANDAX system and support the organisation during reporting and investigations.
- Ensure that lessons are learned from projects are implemented and shared throughout the organization.
- Ensure customer satisfaction form being sent out at the end of project.
- Support Employees, Managers & Projects in HSEQ-matters.
- Assist commercial department with HSEQ-matters in tenders.
- Chemicals/COSHH/Substitution evaluation together with Chemical Manager administrator and relevant personnel.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety, continuous improvement and best practice.
About You
- Qualifications/Experience: BSC or higher graduation within HSEQ or an equivalent combination of extensive relevant experience and/or education/training
- Skills: Proven experience with analytical thinking, problem solving, writing, presentation, use of computers and software. Ability to communicate and present to a larger audience
- Knowledge: Specific knowledge of HSEQ standards and legal legislation, demonstrated knowledge of Quality Assurance, auditing, Vessel and marine operation knowledge & HSEQ best practices.
- Team-Oriented: Ability to foster a cooperative team culture, support personnel development, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Ability to travel: Able to complete (or already possess) the necessary offshore medical fitness evaluations, safety certifications, and travel requirements to assist with mobilisations and site inductions.
