We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our small, locally owned multidisciplinary team.

You might be an early-career OT looking for support and mentorship as you develop your clinical skills. Or you might be an experienced OT looking for greater flexibility, opportunities to mentor or lead others, and a more sustainable way of working.

Either way, we'd love to hear from you.

We are a community-minded allied health practice that has supported local families for over 10 years, with strong referral pathways established well before the NDIS. We have built long-term relationships with local families, schools, services and referrers, and we care deeply about providing meaningful, person-centred support.

What matters to us

We believe clinicians do their best work when they have good support, flexibility, manageable workloads and opportunities to keep developing.

We also know allied health can be emotionally demanding work. Building confidence, managing a caseload, supporting families and balancing life outside work all matter.

As a smaller practice, we can offer flexibility and responsiveness that larger organisations often cannot. Clinicians are encouraged to contribute ideas, help shape processes, develop their clinical interests and communicate openly about what helps them work well.

We understand that people have different communication styles, different strengths and different support needs. What matters to us is a willingness to collaborate, problem-solve, communicate respectfully and engage as part of the team.

Shape a caseload that suits you

Our OT caseload is predominantly paediatric, with a strong focus on supporting neurodivergent children and young people with developmental challenges or lifelong disabilities. We also work with clients across the lifespan, providing opportunities for clinicians interested in a broader or mixed caseload.

Our OT services include:

- Developmental skills that impact everyday participation

- Fine motor skills, including handwriting, utensil use and dressing

- Gross motor skills, including balance and coordination

- Social participation and regulation

- Independence with daily activities, such as toileting and dressing

- Instrumental daily living skills, including shopping, cooking, community access and work readiness

- Executive functioning, including planning, organisation and problem-solving

- School readiness

- Sensory processing and regulation

- Functional Capacity Assessments (referrals considered on a case-by-case basis)

- Advocacy and supporting clients to participate meaningfully in everyday life

You won't be expected to work across every area. There is flexibility to shape your caseload around your skills, interests and stage of career, with opportunities to develop into new areas with appropriate support.

Most services are provided from our clinic, supporting easy access to colleagues and opportunities for collaboration throughout the day. We also provide some off-site services and can incorporate more community-based work into your role if this is an area you particularly enjoy.

What we offer

- Flexible full-time or part-time options

- Negotiable work hours and scheduling

- Gradual and supported caseload development

- Options to shape your caseload and areas of clinical interest

- Structured clinical supervision

- Mentorship support in addition to clinical supervision

- Dedicated time for clinical administration, supported by solid administrative systems and staff

- A sustainable minimum billable expectation of 55% for full-time clinicians, leaving genuine work time for administration, supervision, collaboration and professional development

- Financial incentives for clinicians who choose to work above their minimum billable expectations

- PD budget of $500 per year, or $1,000 during your new graduate year

- Generous professional development leave of up to one week of your usual work hours annually

- Additional paid leave days between Christmas and New Year

- A collaborative multidisciplinary team environment

- Leadership and mentoring opportunities for experienced clinicians

If you're early in your career

We understand that becoming a confident clinician takes time.

We provide regular supervision and mentoring, gradual caseload development and support to build both your clinical skills and your confidence managing the everyday demands of the role.

Questions are expected and welcomed. We don't expect an early-career clinician to know everything.

If you're an experienced OT

You may be at a point in your career where you're looking for something a little different.

We're open to experienced clinicians who want flexibility and autonomy in their clinical work, as well as those interested in mentoring, leadership or service development.

There are opportunities to contribute to how our OT services develop, support other clinicians, and help shape systems and culture within the practice — without needing to move away from clinical work altogether.

Who we're looking for

We'd love to hear from clinicians who:

- Value genuine relationships and community connection

- Communicate openly and respectfully

- Are willing to collaborate and problem-solve

- Are open to different communication styles and ways of working

- Want to contribute positively to team culture

- Care about providing meaningful, high-quality support

Local applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

If you're looking for a workplace where you can do meaningful clinical work, continue to grow and have some flexibility around what your role looks like, we'd love to hear from you.
