The Radiopharmaceuticals we create every day in our laboratories are delivered in the same day and injected into patients requiring diagnoses or treatment of different types of diseases, in this role you will have a direct impact on the Nuclear Medicine industry and their patients.
We are seeking a full time Radiochemist to join the production team. The facility is located in Arncliffe, reporting directly to the Site Manager. The successful candidate must be available for a rotating roster between night, early morning and day shifts.
What does the job look like?
- Undertaking the compounding of radioactive substances and reagents to prepare radiopharmaceuticals following laboratory procedures
- Performing daily activities of Radio-pharmacy i.e. customer order receipt, raw material ordering, pharmacy operations
- Completing of Quality control testing on products
- Maintaining control records for receipt, storage, preparation and disposal of radioactive isotopes
