The Role
The Enterprise Data Governance team is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill four Transformation Business Analyst positions.
As a Transformation Business Analyst, you will play a key role in turning complex business problems into practical, deliverable outcomes and supporting data enabled transformation across the insurance commission.
Joining one of four Transformation Business Analyst opportunities, you will work on high-profile data and business transformation initiatives, helping shape solutions, improve processes, and translate complex information into meaningful business outcomes.
You will use a range of business analysis approaches, including requirements analysis, process mapping, workshops and data and information analysis. Just as importantly, you will identify dependencies, risks and opportunities and help ensure solutions deliver the intended business outcome. You will work iteratively and at pace, adapting your priorities and focusing analysis on what is needed to enable timely decisions and delivery.
The Person
You are a curious and pragmatic business analyst who enjoys making sense of complex problems. You are comfortable working with some ambiguity and use your initiative to determine what needs to be understood, who needs to be involved and what analysis will move the initiative forward.
You build robust relationships and can work effectively across technical and non-technical teams. You can communicate complex information simply, identify risks and opportunities, and You understand that good business analysis is about creating clarity, enabling decisions and helping deliver better outcomes.
You are a team player who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and supporting positive organisational change.

The Insurance Commission is a State owned Government Trading Enterprise that provides motor injury insurance to 2.7 million Western Australian motorists and manages the self-insurance arrangements of the Western Australian Government.

Appointment Information
In addition to the immediately available position, appointments may be made from this process within a twelve-month period to similar positions that may be permanent or contract, including fixed term appointments with the possibility of extension or subsequent permanency.
