About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Account Manager to join a leading organisation within the outdoor power equipment industry. You'll play a key role in supporting a well-established dealer network across Metro Melbourne, North-West Victoria and the Northern Territory.

This role is focused on strengthening existing dealer relationships, growing market share, and delivering outstanding commercial outcomes. Working closely with specialist retailers and industry professionals, you will execute sales strategies, identify growth opportunities, and provide ongoing commercial support that helps dealers maximise performance. If you enjoy building long-term partnerships, achieving sales targets, and working with products that help people create, maintain and improve outdoor spaces, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your sales career.

Duties

- Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with existing dealer partners across your territory.
- Execute seasonal sales strategies and initiatives to achieve regional and organisational objectives.
- Consistently achieve and exceed established sales targets and KPI expectations.
- Increase market share and product penetration across existing dealerships.
- Identify opportunities to grow dealer engagement, sales performance and customer outcomes.
- Conduct regular dealer visits, business reviews and sales planning discussions.
- Provide product, promotional and sales support to maximise dealer success.
- Monitor market activity, industry trends and competitor movements to identify commercial opportunities.
- Utilise CRM systems and sales reporting tools to manage activity, forecasting and pipeline visibility.




- Work closely with internal teams across sales, marketing, customer service and operations to deliver exceptional dealer experiences.
- Travel throughout the territory as required, typically 7-10 days per month, managing your schedule autonomously to maximise customer engagement and sales outcomes.

Skills & Experience

- Proven success in sales, account management, business development or customer relationship management.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales budgets, KPIs and performance objectives.
- Solid relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation capabilities.
- Strategic mindset with strong commercial and business acumen.
- Highly organised with the ability to effectively manage a large and diverse territory.
- Strong digital literacy including Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Formal qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory.
