We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Art Teacher to join our vibrant learning community in 2027. About the Role

The successful applicant will:

- Deliver engaging and contemporary Art programs across Years 7-9

- Foster creativity, imagination and artistic confidence in students

- Use creative teaching practices to support student growth and achievement

- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

- Work collaboratively within the Arts Learning Area and wider College community

- Support the Catholic and Mercy ethos of the College

About You

You are an educator who:

- Demonstrates a passion for visual arts education

- Builds positive and productive relationships with students

- Embraces collaboration and continuous improvement

- Demonstrates contemporary curriculum and assessment practice

- Is committed to child safety and student wellbeing

Essential Requirements

- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.

- Demonstrated capacity to teach Art at secondary level.

- Knowledge of contemporary curriculum, assessment and reporting practices.





- Ability to create engaging, inclusive and student-centred learning environments.

- Commitment to child safety, student wellbeing and inclusive education.

- Capacity to contribute positively to a collaborative professional learning culture.

- Commitment to supporting the Catholic and Mercy ethos of the College.
