Be part of the next stage of our growth

TRUCK TECH® is a rapidly growing fleet maintenance provider with over 140 team members across four locations and more than 50 Field Service units, supporting heavy vehicle fleets throughout Australia. The company focuses on keeping buses, trucks, and trailers compliant, protected, efficient, and on the road, helping drivers return home safely and supporting the broader economy. TECH® is certified as a GREAT PLACE TO WORK and is driven by strong values centered on customer care, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

As we continue to scale our operations, build our capability and mature the systems, processes and practices that will support our next stage of growth, we are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Regional Human Resources Business Partner (VIC) who wants to be part of that journey. The role supports our Dandenong and Sunshine West branches, with regular travel between both locations and reports to our Chief People and Risk Officer.

As part of a small and agile People team, this is not a role where everything is already built. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our leaders, influence how we manage and develop our people, strengthen HR practices and compliance, and contribute directly to building the capability we need for continued growth.

Your impact will also extend beyond your immediate region. You will lead selected business-wide HR projects, continuous improvement and change initiatives, helping us build better systems, processes and ways of working as we continue to scale.

What you'll do

Working closely with the People team and operational leaders, you will have a broad, hands-on remit across the employee lifecycle. You will:

- Partner with Regional Managers, Branch Managers and Leading Hands to strengthen workforce performance, capability, engagement and culture.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning across trades, technical, operational and professional roles within your region.
- Provide practical, commercially focused advice across the full employee lifecycle, including: workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, injury management and organisational change.
- Support compliance with employment legislation, Modern Awards, industrial instruments, safety requirements and internal standards.
- Use workforce insights to proactively identify emerging risks, resourcing requirements and opportunities to improve engagement and retention.
- Lead selected HR projects, continuous improvement and change initiatives through to effective implementation and adoption.

What you'll bring

You will be hands-on, commercially minded and delivery focused, comfortable working across the full spectrum of HR,

from administration and recruitment through to complex people matters and business-wide initiatives.

You will thrive in a rapid-paced, evolving environment, bring an innovative and improvement-focused mindset, and be prepared to challenge existing ways of working. Most importantly, you will take ownership, build trusted relationships across all levels of the business and drive things through to an outcome.

We are looking for:

- Broad HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist experience within a multi-site operational environment.
- Experience within heavy vehicle maintenance, transport, trades, technical services, industrial or a similar industry.
- Experience supporting a growing or scaling business and helping build and mature HR practices.
- Demonstrated end-to-end recruitment and generalist HR capability.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards and industrial instruments, with confidence in Award interpretation and pay compliance.
- Proven capability in project delivery, change management and continuous improvement, with the ability to drive initiatives through to implementation and adoption.

Make your mark

This is an opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of its growth and have genuine influence over what comes next. You will help shape our people practices, build organisational capability and lead improvements that make a visible difference across the business.

If you are energised by growth, enjoy building and improving, and want to make your mark in a scaling operational business, we'd love to hear from you.
