Limelight People is recruiting experienced Emergency Nurses for contract opportunities across the Northern Territory, including Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine, Gove and Tennant Creek.

About the Role

- 4-12 week Emergency Nursing contracts, with extensions often available
- Opportunities across regional and remote NT hospitals and health services
- Provide emergency care across a broad range of presentations
- Work alongside experienced multidisciplinary teams
- Opportunities for nurses interested in regional and remote practice
- On-call and after-hours responsibilities may apply depending on the location

Key Responsibilities

- Provide safe, high-quality emergency nursing care
- Assess, triage and manage patients presenting with a wide range of conditions
- Respond to acute and emergency presentations
- Assist with resuscitation and emergency procedures
- Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice
- Work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Deliver culturally secure and patient-centred care

What We're Looking For

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse




- Recent and relevant Emergency Department experience
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency care skills
- Experience in regional or remote environments highly regarded
- ALS certification highly regarded
- PALS and relevant emergency nursing competencies advantageous
- Current National Police Check and required immunisation evidence
