What you'll be doing?

- Client discovery and loan structuring — Conducting in-depth discovery sessions to understand client needs and structuring appropriate loan solutions across residential, investment, refinance, SMSF, and commercial scenarios.

- End-to-end loan management — Managing submissions from initial application through to unconditional approval, keeping clients informed and on track at every milestone.

- Referral network development — Building and nurturing an active referral network with accountants, real estate agents, financial planners, solicitors, buyers agents, and developers to generate consistent, quality business.

- Pipeline management — Proactively managing your own pipeline with timely communication to clients, referrers, and lenders so that nothing is missed and every opportunity is maximised.





- Compliance and responsible lending — Ensuring all files meet compliance obligations under NCCP, responsible lending duties, and Best Interests Duty requirements, protecting both clients and the business.

- Target contribution and team engagement — Contributing to monthly and annual settlement targets and actively participating in team huddles and CPD training to support continuous professional growth.

- CRM and review management — Using CRM tools to track leads, applications, and annual reviews, ensuring every client receives ongoing attention throughout their lending journey.

Who are they looking for?

- Lending or broking experience — A minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage broking, financial services, or office management within a lending environment is essential for this role.

- Product and process knowledge — A solid understanding of mortgage and lending products and processes is important to confidently guide clients and structure appropriate solutions.

- CRM and software proficiency — Comfort working with CRM platforms and loan origination software enables smooth management of client pipelines and applications.

- Attention to detail — Strong organisational skills and a careful eye for detail help ensure every file is accurate, compliant, and progressed efficiently.

- Communication skills — Excellent written and verbal communication skills are key to building trust with clients, referrers, and lenders alike.

- SMSF and commercial lending experience — While not essential, experience with SMSF lending scenarios or commercial finance such as business owner finance, asset lending, or development funding is highly regarded.





- Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking — Holding or working towards a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking (FNS50322) is an advantage, though not a requirement to be considered.

- Broker CRM platform experience — Familiarity with platforms such as Apply Online, NextGen, or Salestrekker is a plus and will help hit the ground running.

- Non-bank and specialist lender experience — Experience placing deals with non-bank or specialist lenders is valued and adds breadth to the capability brought to the role.

- Established referral network — Candidates who bring existing relationships with accountants, real estate agents, financial planners, solicitors, conveyancers, builders, developers, or buyers agents are strongly preferred. Quality and depth of relationships is valued over volume.
