Richmond Tweed Regional Library is seeking an experienced Financial Services Project Manager to play a pivotal role in strengthening financial management, governance and strategic planning across the RTRL network.
Based in Lismore
Salary: $113,927 - $131,016 per annum + Super

Are you an accomplished finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to influence, communicate and build trusted relationships.
- 5+ years demonstrated experience in public sector or not-for-profit financial management within a large and/or complex organisation.
- Tertiary qualifications and relevant certifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Experience influencing diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in long-term financial planning, budget reviews and variance analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in grant oversight, compliance and acquittal.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- High levels of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
Experience in Local Government, as well as knowledge of State Library of NSW frameworks will be highly regarded.

Reporting to the RTRL Business Manager, you will provide expert financial leadership, analysis and advice while driving improvement across financial systems, reporting and governance.
You will:
- Lead financial management and governance improvement projects across RTRL.
- Drive improvements in budgeting, business planning, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Provide expert analysis, including budget performance and variance analysis, to support executive decision-making.
- Strengthen financial controls, compliance and financial transparency.
- Oversee grant financial management, including tracking, reporting and acquittals.
- Support audit processes and respond to audit findings.
- Develop improved financial systems, frameworks and documentation.
- Establish and monitor business performance KPIs.
- Build solid relationships with executives, councils, committee members and other stakeholders.
- Work closely with Council finance teams to ensure alignment and integration.
