At the Salvation Army Employment Plus (EPlus), our experienced employment teams have empowered people to find the right job since 1998 as part of the Australian Government's Employment Services network. We are seeking an experienced and supportive individual to lead and collaborate with a team of Wage Subsidy Consultants, and to oversee the successful daily operation of the outcomes and wage subsidy function. The centralised team is responsible for detailed compliance checks and reviews across outcomes and wage subsidies for multiple contracts, confirming correct placements details have been entered, outcome/wage subsidy verification checks across multiple systems, collecting and managing evidence in accordance with policies and guidelines, and strong customer engagement.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- Support and motivate a team of Wage Subsidy Consultants to focus on wage subsidies and claims and understand the needs, requirements & timeframes in which and how to action.
- Nurture effective relationships with external stakeholders to promote repeat business
- Achieve financial targets on a regular basis and identify opportunities to improve financial performance
- Maintain accurate and up to date information on all databases and systems
- Optimising legitimate claiming opportunities through special claim intervention in accordance with policy, contractual obligations, and guidelines
- Minimising missed or rejected claims by providing technical post placement support and claiming advice (includes training) to front line staff.




- Minimising recoveries by ensuring claims withstand EPlus & Department scrutiny

ABOUT YOU

- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Team Leader in a compliance focused environment is preferred however strong applicants will be considered
- Experience in the employment services industry (preferred but not essential)
- Extensive experience in building positive and professional relationships with stakeholders
- High level of personal organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong administrative experience
- Advanced communication skills, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of Government legislation
