Area Manager – Support at Home (SaH)
$120,000 – $125,000 + Super + Salary Packaging

An established not-for-profit aged care provider is seeking an experienced Area Manager – Support at Home (SaH) to take operational leadership of regional home care services.

This is an exciting time to join a growing Support at Home division, with new clients continuing to come into the service and an opportunity to play a key role in supporting that growth. You will ensure the operational structure, workforce and service delivery capability are in place to successfully onboard and support an expanding client base.

The role has broad responsibility across service delivery, people leadership, financial performance, compliance, quality and business growth. You will lead Home Care Coordinators, Home Care Officers and administration staff while ensuring services remain responsive to the needs of clients and local communities.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Home and Community Care, you will oversee the overall performance of services across your area, including:

- Leading and developing multidisciplinary Support at Home teams
- Supporting the continued growth of the division and successful onboarding of current clients
- Ensuring workforce capacity and service delivery keeps pace with client growth
- Managing annual budgets, financial performance and KPIs
- Driving local business performance and sustainable service growth
- Overseeing client budgets and effective resource allocation
- Managing workforce performance, recruitment, training and development
- Ensuring high-quality, person-centred service delivery
- Maintaining compliance with Aged Care legislation and Quality Standards
- Ensuring services remain audit and regulatory ready
- Building strong relationships with clients, families, community stakeholders and external providers




- Supporting local marketing and business development initiatives
- Providing visible leadership across multiple service locations

The position carries genuine commercial responsibility across budgeting, financial reporting, business growth, workforce and resource management.

About You

We are looking for an established Support at Home / Home Care operational leader who understands how to balance excellent client outcomes with strong operational and commercial performance.

You will ideally bring:

- Minimum 3 years' experience managing people, systems and operational processes
- Strong experience within Support at Home / Home Care
- Experience leading services through growth or increasing client volumes
- Sound understanding of relevant aged care legislation, regulation and Quality Standards
- Strong people leadership and performance management capability
- Demonstrated budget management and commercial acumen
- Ability to identify and support opportunities for sustainable service growth
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills
- Nursing or management background with relevant experience
- Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence
- Ability to travel across the area as required - Between ACT & SW Sydney
