An established and growing allied health provider is seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join their Perth team on a permanent 0.5 FTE basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner looking to reduce their hours, balance another role or commitment, or simply find a position that offers greater flexibility without moving into contracting.

The Role
Working within a supportive multidisciplinary allied health setting, you'll provide Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) services to NDIS participants across the Perth region.

You'll manage a varied caseload and work closely with participants, families, carers, support coordinators and other health professionals to develop practical, evidence-based strategies that promote independence, quality of life and meaningful outcomes.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments
- Developing, implementing and reviewing Positive Behaviour Support Plans
- Assessing behaviours of concern and identifying contributing factors
- Developing individualised, evidence-based behaviour support strategies
- Supporting the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices
- Providing education, coaching and practical strategies to families, carers and support workers
- Monitoring participant progress and reviewing interventions
- Completing NDIS documentation and clinical reports
- Working in accordance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements
- Collaborating with support coordinators and multidisciplinary health professionals

About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Behavioural Science or a related discipline
- Registration or suitability as a Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
- Previous experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support within the NDIS
- Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support frameworks and restrictive practices
- Experience completing Functional Behaviour Assessments and Behaviour Support Plans
- Strong clinical reasoning and report-writing skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
