Business Development Consultant – Labour Hire
Sydney, NSW | Full-Time | Base + Super + Uncapped Commission

Step In Recruitment is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Business Development Consultant who knows the labour hire industry and loves building new business.

This is a genuine sales role with one clear objective – build relationships, win new accounts and grow your client portfolio.

The Role
You'll be actively out in the market meeting businesses, visiting sites, developing relationships and identifying new labour hire opportunities.

You'll also have dedicated lead-generation and market-mapping support, helping you identify target businesses and decision-makers so you can focus on developing and converting opportunities.

You'll be responsible for:
• New business development and client acquisition
• Face-to-face prospecting, client meetings and site visits
• Market mapping and territory development
• Building your own network and sales pipeline
• Following up internally generated leads
• Preparing and following up quotes
• Progressing opportunities through to conversion
• Reactivating dormant accounts
• Building and growing your client portfolio

About You
You'll bring:
• Business Development experience within the labour hire industry
• Solid face-to-face sales and relationship-building skills




• Experience in market mapping and developing new opportunities
• Confidence engaging with decision-makers
• Strong commercial awareness
• A proactive, self-driven approach
• Current Australian driver's licence – essential

An established industry network would be highly regarded.

JobAdder experience is a bonus, but not essential.
