This is far more than resource scheduling.

As the business continues to grow, we're looking for someone who can embed themselves within the operation, develop current workforce planning frameworks, and become the central point of truth for capability, capacity, and future workforce needs. You'll help shape where we invest in hiring, training, and capability development while ensuring the right skills are allocated to the right projects at the right time.

You'll also play a key role in helping the business adopt smarter ways of working, identifying opportunities to leverage technology, automation, AI, and workforce planning tools to improve visibility, utilisation, decision-making, and operational performance.

Tasks will include:

- Partnering with leaders across Service, Engineering, and Projects to optimise workforce allocation and delivery outcomes

- Forecasting future demand and identifying capability gaps before they impact the business

- Influencing recruitment, workforce planning, succession, and training priorities

- Allocating headcount, technical skills, and resources across competing projects and operational requirements

- Developing workforce planning frameworks, governance, and reporting capabilities

- Driving utilisation, workforce productivity,

and operational efficiency

- Identifying and implementing appropriate tools, systems, automation, and AI solutions to support resource planning and business growth

- Providing data-driven insights that inform strategic workforce and operational decisions

You will bring

- 5+ years' experience in Resource Management, Workforce Planning, Capacity Planning, or a similar function

- Experience within Field Service, Engineering, Technical Services, Projects, Construction, Infrastructure, or industrial environments

- Proven success building or improving workforce planning processes, frameworks, and operating models

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability

- Experience working with workforce planning, scheduling, ERP, or CRM platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, or similar

- The ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change across multiple functions

- A passion for continuous improvement, technology, and leveraging AI to enhance business performance

We Offer:

- Build something from the ground up: This is a newly created role with the opportunity to establish and mature the Resource Management function across Australia.

- Make a strategic impact: Influence where the business invests in recruitment, training,

capability development, and workforce planning.

- Be at the centre of the operation: Partner with leaders across Service, Engineering, and Projects to shape delivery outcomes and business performance.

- Lead workforce transformation: Implement new frameworks, processes, systems, and reporting capabilities that enhance workforce visibility and effectiveness.

- Shape the future with technology: Identify and introduce workforce planning tools, automation, and AI-driven solutions to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

- High visibility and influence: Work closely with senior leaders as a trusted advisor on workforce strategy and resource planning.

- Global backing, local impact: Join a world-leading organisation with the resources and stability of a global business while having the autonomy to create meaningful change locally.

- Career-defining opportunity: Ideal for someone who wants to evolve from workforce planning and resource coordination into a broader operational leadership and transformation role.

If you're excited by building capability, influencing business decisions, and creating workforce strategies that deliver real operational impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply now.

If you are an experienced Resource Planning Manager looking for your next career opportunity with a leading organisation, we encourage you to submit your application.
