The Role

Applications are invited for the position of Transformation Project Coordinator.

Working within the Transformation Management Office this role supports the delivery of projects under the Transformation Program. This position is responsible for coordinating project activities across one or more initiatives, maintaining comprehensive project documentation, and facilitating effective stakeholder engagement.

The Person

You bring strong capability in planning, prioritising and organising work to manage multiple tasks, balance competing priorities and consistently meet required timeframes, as well as maintaining accurate and well-structured records, registers and project documentation, ensuring strong governance, transparency and reliable reporting across projects and initiatives.

You will be able to communicate clearly and professionally with a broad range of stakeholders, building positive relationships and influencing outcomes where required. You will work collaboratively within project and transformation teams to achieve shared objectives, while using project coordination tools, systems and methodologies to support planning, progress tracking, reporting and continuous improvement.

The Insurance Commission is a State owned Government Trading Enterprise that provides motor injury insurance to 2.7 million Western Australian motorists and manages the self-insurance arrangements of the Western Australian Government.

The Insurance Commission generated $1.4 billion in revenue over six months to 31 December 2025 and holds nearly $9.7 billion in assets, making it a major self-funded statutory authority.

Appointment Information

In addition to the immediately available position, appointments may be made from this process within a twelve-month period to similar positions that may be permanent or contract, including fixed term appointments with the possibility of extension or subsequent permanency.
