Section Waiter / Waitress – Roy's by Gemelli & Papa Rolly's

We’re currently looking for experienced Section Waiters and Waitresses to join the teams at Roy's by Gemelli and Papa Rolly's.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Section Waiter / Waitress to join the teams at Roy's by Gemelli and Papa Rolly's.

This is a casual position making it ideal for a student or someone looking for additional evening work. For the right candidate, there is the opportunity for hours to increase over time based on performance and business needs.

You’ll be confident running your own section, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Weekend availability is essential, and successful applicants must be available to work public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

- Confidently manage your own section during busy service.
- Deliver warm, attentive and skilled table service.




- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Build rapport with guests and anticipate their needs.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a busy restaurant.
- Confident running a section independently.
- able to carry 3 plates
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Reliable, punctual and well presented.
- Current RSA Certificate.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Own reliable transport or a car is essential.
- Must be available to work weekends and public holidays.
