An exciting opportunity exists for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join a business operating across industrial services, and infrastructure sectors.This role offers broad exposure across disputes, commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, and business advisory matters.
Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you'll provide pragmatic legal advice that supports commercial objectives while managing legal and operational risk.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a range of commercial disputes, including debt recovery, property damage, personal injury claims, and litigation matters.Review and improve debt recovery processes and collaborate with internal teams to drive better results.Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, procurement, technology, and marketing contracts.Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide commercially focused advice on contracts, risk, and legal issues.Advise on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters, including employment, privacy, consumer law,



competition law, and industry-specific regulations.Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and provide guidance on their impact to the business.Support continuous improvement initiatives across legal processes, systems, and governance frameworks.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external counsel, insurers, and regulatory bodies.About YouQualified lawyer with experience in commercial law, in-house or private practice.Solid contracts and dispute resolution experience.Commercially minded with the ability to provide practical, risk-based advice.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Able to manage competing priorities in a quick-paced setting.ContactIf you are looking to take the next step in your career we would love to hear from you.
