We're partnering with a respected Australian organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their established payroll team in Fremantle.
This is an opportunity to step into a senior position where you'll take ownership of accurate end-to-end payroll processing for a large workforce while acting as a key support to the Payroll Supervisor.
Working as part of a cooperative team of five, you'll be trusted to handle complex payroll matters, provide guidance to junior team members and help drive best practice across the function.

Key Responsibilities: Process end-to-end payroll across weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay cycles Support the Payroll Supervisor with the day-to-day management of payroll operations Review payroll for accuracy and ensure compliance with relevant legislation Interpret Modern Awards,



Enterprise Agreements and payroll legislation Process superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax and Single Touch Payroll Manage terminations, leave reconciliations, allowances, deductions and back pay calculations Support and mentor Payroll Officers within the team Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations and assist with audit requirements About You: 3+ years' experience in end-to-end payroll Strong knowledge of Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll legislation Experience working in a high-volume, complex payroll environment Advanced Excel skills with robust analytical ability Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively UKG experience is advantageous but not essential Shortlisting is already underway.
