Our client is an Australian success story with diversified interests in services and industrial space. They seek a Legal Counsel with expertise in Employment/IR to join the thriving in-house team and contribute to the business strategy and protection of the company's interests.
Responsibilities
Advising on employment disputes relating to termination of employment, unfair dismissal, post-employment restraints, redundancy, and contractor agreements.
Provide legal support to negotiate and draft enterprise bargaining agreements.
Support strategic bargaining through benchmarking, trend assessment, and comparative analysis.
Qualifications
5 to 8+ years' experience in Employment/IR law (PQE considered from 5–8 years) with in-house or advisory backgrounds.
Experience advising on employment relations and industrial relations matters; ability to contribute to strategy and risk management.
Willingness to consider 4 days per week for suitable senior candidates.
Eligible to work in Australia.
