Position This is an exciting prospect for a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to take on a full time role within a growing regional health service.
The position offers a broad scope of practice across both inpatient and outpatient settings, with access to a dynamic maternity service supporting over 500 births annually.
The role involves providing high-quality, multidisciplinary care alongside midwives, GP obstetricians, paediatricians, and allied health professionals, while contributing to clinical supervision, service planning, and education.
The maternity unit includes a Level 4 obstetrics service and a Level 3 special care nursery, supporting a diverse patient population.
The successful applicant will also participate in strategic service development, collaborate with Aboriginal health and community programs, and contribute to ongoing research and training.

Hospital This regional hospital in Current South Wales is a Level 4 acute care facility offering a broad range of medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, and emergency services.
With over 120 beds, it serves a growing population and plays a key role in delivering high-quality healthcare to the surrounding communities.
The facility features a special care nursery, coronary care, intensive care, and rehabilitation services, and maintains strong affiliations with major universities for medical education and clinical placements.
A major redevelopment is underway to expand and modernise its infrastructure, further enhancing service delivery and training capacity.
Requirements The position requires AHPRA Specialist registration (FRANZCOG) or Advanced Trainees with eligibility for FRANZCOG within 6 months.
Overseas Specialist qualifications assessed by RANZCOG as Substantially Comparable/ Specialist looking to be assessed are welcome to apply.
