We are seeking a motivated and skilled Specialist Surgeon to lead our surgical department at Sydney Veterinary Emergency & Specialists (SVES), a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility offering comprehensive veterinary services including emergency care, surgery, medicine, and more.
About SVES
SVES provides a collaborative environment with top-tier equipment such as Synthes and Orthomed plating, E-Pen Neuro Burr, Biomedtrix THR systems, and I-Loc Interlocking Nail System. As part of the VetPartners network, you'll join a community of veterinary specialists committed to clinical excellence.
Role Responsibilities
Set the vision and strategic roadmap for the surgical department
Manage surgical caseloads and oversee the surgical team
Collaborate across departments to ensure optimal patient care
Mentor and guide interns and team members
Perform orthopaedic, soft tissue, neurologic, and emergency surgeries as needed
Uphold the core values of VetPartners and foster a collaborative culture
Candidate Requirements




Diplomate or equivalent status in Small Animal Surgery (ACVS/ECVS/FANZCVS)
Eligibility for Specialist Registration with the Australian Veterinary Board Council
