Senior Legal Counsel – Funds & Financial Services. Duration is 6‐month secondment with a potential to extend further.
Responsibilities




Lead and manage complex legal transactions and strategic projects, including Fund establishment and wind‐down, Product development initiatives, corporate restructurings, M&A; and financing activities
Provide legal oversight of investment funds, including: Fund documentation (e.g. constitutions, trust deeds, disclosure materials), Ongoing operational and compliance matters, Distribution and investor arrangements
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of complex commercial and financial services agreements, including: Investment management and distribution agreements, Custody and administration arrangements, Vendor and service provider contracts, Confidentiality and regulatory documentation
Monitor and interpret legislative and regulatory developments across relevant jurisdictions, providing clear and actionable advice to the business.
Requirements
Qualified lawyer with * post‐qualification experience (ideally gained in law firms and/or in‐house environments).
Sound knowledge of ASIC regulations.
Robust experience in asset management, or financial services regulation.
Robust drafting, negotiation, and analytical capabilities.
