About the Role
As a Room Leader, you will take the lead in planning, implementing, and delivering high-quality, play-based learning experiences for children in your chosen room. You'll mentor and guide a small team of educators, while building strong relationships with children and families from the very start of our service's story.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and delivery of age-appropriate curriculum in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Mentor, guide and support a team of educators within your room
- Build genuine, trusting relationships with children and families
- Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and relevant regulations
- Contribute to the overall culture and vision of our new service
- Support with documentation, observations, and programming
About You
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ECT)
- Previous experience in a Room Leader or similar leadership position
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and shaping a new service
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
- A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
