Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery – Geelong VIC

Chocolate Destinations Group is recruiting for an experienced, hands-on Retail Team Member / Events Host who will be responsible for setting up and hosting chocolate tastings andchocolate makingworkshops for small groups, as well as work at in our Showroom at The Chocolateries - Great Ocean Road.

Set on 40 acres of landscaped grounds, 10 minutes from Torquay in the stunning Great Ocean Road, this unique tourism and hospitality venue has been carefully designed for locals, domestic and international tourists to enjoy year-round.

Your Role

- Work with the team to deliver amazing festivals, events, groups, parties and classes.
- Assist with the preparation of any signage, decorations and specialty items for events, festivals and functions.




- Assist visitors with choosing products and making purchases.
- Demonstrate working effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate behaviours in line with The Chocolateries Way and our core values of Caring, Commitment and Creativity.
- Training will be provided on our beautiful range of chocolate, pastry and ice cream products, so you can be confident in delivering our chocolate tasting and making workshops and experiences. You will be ateam member initially in these events, listening and learning, until you are comfortableto adopt the hosting role.

Experience

- Previous experience in a Retail/Service and team environment essential.
- Confident in a busy environment and interacting with groups and customers.

This position is casual with permanent part-time to be considered for the right candidate. Due to the nature of our business, you will be required to work most weekend days and most public holidays throughout the year (excluding Christmas Day).
