Medical Superintendent Location: Taroom, QLD Employment Type: Permanent Salary: L13-L24 (attractive remuneration package available) Start Date: TBA About the Role Provide high-quality inpatient, outpatient and emergency medical services to the Taroom community and surrounding areas.
This role includes 24-hour emergency coverage on a rostered basis, clinical leadership, governance, education, and service improvement.
Key Responsibilities Deliver inpatient, outpatient and emergency care.
Participate in on-call, shift and weekend rosters.
Lead multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Support clinical governance, patient safety and quality improvement.
Manage clinical documentation and referrals.
Contribute to teaching, supervision and mentoring.
Participate in community health initiatives.
Essential Criteria AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner.
FACRRM or FRACGP.
Eligible for Scope of Clinical Practice credentialing.
Experience in Rural Generalist Medicine.
Robust leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to clinical governance and ongoing professional development.
Current C Class Driver Licence.
Eligible for a Medicare Provider Number.
Ability to participate in on-call, shift work and travel requirements.
