Role: Financial Accountant (6-Month FTC) Sydney | Fintech | Immediate Start (WHV candidates encouraged to apply) We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join a high-performing APAC Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career finance professional (0–3 years' experience) to gain hands-on exposure across finance operations, reporting, and regulatory processes within a quick-paced fintech environment.
You'll work closely with stakeholders across Australia and Asia, supporting day-to-day finance activities as well as broader process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities: Y our responsibilities will include: Supporting accounts payable and vendor management processes Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with GST and indirect tax activities Supporting management reporting preparation and data validation Assisting with regulatory reporting processes and reconciliations Contributing to finance system and process migration activities Supporting data reconciliation and process improvement initiatives Collaborating with finance and operations teams across multiple jurisdictions About You:



Degree qualified 1–3 years' experience in an accounting or finance role Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment Demonstrated interest in process improvement and technology-enabled finance Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams and geographies A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn Nice to Have: Exposure to reconciliations, accounts payable, or finance operations Practical experience using Excel in a finance or analytical context Interest in fintech, automation, or digital finance transformation What's on Offer Broad exposure across finance operations and regulatory processes Chance to work within a regulated financial services/fintech environment Team-oriented and supportive team with regional exposure Robust platform for early career development Additional Information : This is a 6-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave and is not expected to convert into a permanent role.
