About the Role

As a Solar Roofer, you will play a key role in the installation of residential and commercial solar PV systems. Working alongside our electricians and installation teams, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

- Install solar mounting systems and solar panels on residential and commercial properties.

- Work confidently on tile, tin and Colorbond roofs.

- Ensure all installations comply with Australian Standards and manufacturer specifications.

- Carry out roof penetrations and flashing to a high standard.

- Maintain a safe work environment and follow all WHS requirements.

- Inspect sites and identify any potential installation issues.

- Work efficiently with electricians and fellow installers to complete projects on schedule.

- Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicles.





- Represent Solar Prime professionally when interacting with customers.

Skills & Experience

Essential

- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Solar Roofer.

- Proven experience installing solar systems on tile, tin and Colorbond roofs.

- Current White Card.

- Current Working at Heights certificate.

- Current Australian Driver Licence.

- Strong understanding of safe work practices.

- Excellent attention to detail.

- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

- Experience with battery installations.

- EWP Licence.

- Scissor Lift Licence.

- First Aid Certificate.

- CEC accreditation or working towards accreditation.
