We are a long-standing engineering business based in Bundaberg seeking a qualified and experienced Fitter & Turner to join our small, friendly team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing quality work, has robust mechanical aptitude, and enjoys a varied role. We are looking for a reliable, motivated tradesperson who can work independently while also contributing positively within a team environment.

About the Role

- Manufacturing and maintaining spare parts and components
- Producing new-build parts to specification
- Carrying out general fitting, repair and maintenance work
- Completing ad hoc machining jobs alongside scheduled production work
- Ensuring regular orders are completed accurately and on time
- General mechanical assembly as required

Skills & Experience

- Experience in general fitting, repair and maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency operating manual lathes, milling machines and drilling equipment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
