Experienced Bus Driver - HR driver - Snowy 2.0 - Short term 6 month contract

NX Blue are currently recruiting for an experienced Local Bus Driver / HR Drivers for a minimum 6 month contract. This person will be local to the Snowy Monaro Cooma area and have relevant experience driving Busses and preferably have experience driving in Snow and Ice Conditions. This role will have you ferrying people attached to the Snowy 2.0 project too and from the Cooma airport. Some trips to Canberra and surrounds as well as general local pick ups and drop offs.

Job Description:

Transportation of staff in and around site.

- Transportation of staff in and around Cooma / Canberra / Marimbula, the project and surrounds
- 12 hour days on a 14:7 roster
- Consideration towards long term position
- HR Licence (Clean national driving record)
- Assisting TA’s & Cleaners at Joule Ridge Camp Cooma
- Maintaining busses and vehicles
- Alpine conditions / 4x4 experience preferred / Snow and Ice experience
- Exceptional customer service (will be picking up international new starters, must make them feel welcomed)
- Patience & Cultural awareness

Required:

- Construction OHS White Card
- HR Truck Licence
- Experience driving buses from 12 seater to 40+
- Experience in Driving in Snow and Ice conditions
- Own accommodation in Cooma as a local. Accommodation is NOT provided.
- Ability to pass a full medical
- a recent Police Check
- A primary focus and commitment to WHS in the workplace
