Key responsibilities

- Empower a team of Support Workers to provide high-quality and safe services to vulnerable persons within our community
- Coach and mentor Support Workers, offering on-the-job training, support, and guidance
- Inspire a skilled, versatile, and diverse team utilising experience in managing performance and delivering support
- Support service delivery by ensuring effective and efficient administrative processes and procedures, including quality, timely, and accurate reporting, planning, and record-keeping

Key skills and experience

- Proven advanced problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and positive interaction skills across diverse communities
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and performance manage teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Effective conflict resolution, negotiation, mediation, and decision-making skills
- A track record of building teams with clear goals, fostering innovation and collaboration
- Commitment to a person-centred approach for vulnerable individuals




- Experience supporting complex needs, behaviours of concern, and mental health is essential; working with people with a disability and/or children or youth in care experience is highly regarded
- Qualifications in Disability Services, Community Services, or Individual Support, working towards these qualifications, or be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background
- Availability to work between 6am-10pm for at least 3 days per week

Mandatory requirements

- Current NSW driver's licence
- Obtain and maintain a current paid Working with Children Check
- Obtain and maintain a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC)
- Willingness to undertake a pre-employment police check
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
