About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Automatic Gate Technician to join our growing team.

This is a hands‑on, field‑based role working across commercial and industrial sites.

The role is primarily installation‑focused:

- 80% installation work

- 20% service, maintenance & breakdowns

You will be working with:

- Sliding & swing gate motors

- Boom gates





- Access control systems

- ANPR & parking systems (Parkezi)

After training, you will be trusted to work independently, manage your jobs, and deliver high‑quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation of gate automation systems

- Service, fault finding & repairs

- Routine maintenance and upgrades

- Working independently and within a team

- Communicating with office staff and clients

Skills & Experience

- Current Australian Driver's Licence

- Experience with electrical work (preferred but not essential)

- Experience in gate automation (highly preferred but not essential)

- Solid problem‑solving skills

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Reliable, organised, and takes pride in their work (a must)
