This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the Club operates in full compliance with all Queensland and Commonwealth legislative obligations, licence conditions, and regulatory requirements applicable to community-based licensed clubs.

Working closely with senior management, you will play a key role in protecting the Club’s licences, reputation, and strong standing within the community.

About the Role

The Compliance Coordinator will support compliance across a broad range of operational and regulatory areas, with a robust focus on:

- Incident, Audit & Enforcement Management

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and licence conditions
- Monitor and maintain liquor and gaming compliance frameworks
- Oversee AML/CTF obligations, including reporting, monitoring, and staff awareness
- Support the development and implementation of governance frameworks and policies
- Lead risk management processes, audits, and compliance reviews
- Assist with the management of incidents, investigations, and regulatory interactions
- Deliver and coordinate compliance training across all departments




- Provide guidance and reporting to senior management.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Strong knowledge of liquor and gaming legislation in Queensland
- Experience in compliance, governance, risk, or regulatory environments (clubs or hospitality highly regarded)
- Understanding of AML/CTF requirements (or willingness to develop expertise)
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and influence outcomes across departments
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
