Task & responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences that support children's development.
- Design age-appropriate educational activities to promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth.
- Encourage communication and language skills through stories, songs, conversations, and interactive play.
- Monitor and assess children's learning, development, and overall wellbeing.
- Identify developmental, health, or behavioural concerns and implement appropriate support strategies.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive learning environment that meets children's individual needs.
- Build positive partnerships with families by providing regular updates on children's progress.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and centre improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with families and the wider community to enhance children's learning outcomes.




- Mentor and support early childhood educators, trainees, and teaching students during their professional placements.

Qualification & experience

A bachelor degree or higher qualification in Eatly Childhood Education

Minimum 1 year of experience required in early childhood education settings.

Strong knowledge of EYLF and educational programming required.

Current Working With Children Check.

Current certifications:

- HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- HLTAID010 – Provide basic emergency life support
- HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
- HLTAID012 – Provide emergency first aid response in an education and care setting

Child Protection Refresher course

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a team environmen
