Southern Ridge Electrical is growing, and we're looking for experienced A-Grade Electricians to join our expanding Residential Construction Team.

With a strong pipeline of new home construction projects across Melbourne's South-East and Gippsland, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with a company that values quality workmanship, leadership, and career progression.

As an A-Grade Electrician (or an experienced apprentice), you will lead residential construction projects from rough-in through to fit-off and completion. You'll work closely with our Residential Supervisor, manage your own jobs, and mentor apprentices while delivering high-quality electrical installations on time and to the highest standards.

Our team operates from our modern multiple headquarters , supporting a growing residential division delivering new home builds throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead electrical installations on domestic new home construction projects
- Coordinate daily site activities and manage project timelines
- Supervise, train and mentor apprentices
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, builders and other trades
- Ensure all works comply with Australian Standards and WHS requirements
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and professionalism
- Complete required documentation and reporting accurately





What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

- Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Approaching completion of your Apprenticeship
- Current White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Proven experience in residential construction
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Highly Regarded

- Experience leading crews or supervising apprentices
- Strong understanding of domestic construction timelines
- Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
